JuYue Chinese Orchestra is pleased to launch our first concert, “Resonant Spark”, a chinese music feast with the theme of integrating tradition and modernity. The concert showcases the inheritance and innovation of music from ancient times to the present, bringing a new auditory experience with diversified performances. We invite you to experience the unique artistic beauty of chinese music together!

✨Highlights of the program include:
🎼Beloved classics: “Butterfly Lovers”, “Nocturnal Peace” and “Dance of the Yao People”.

🎼Modern masterpieces: “Celebrating Overture”, “Fantasy of Mountain Language” and the Malaysian premieres of “A Vast Journey”, “Flame”, “Confluence”, and “Gold”.

🎵Special concerto performances: Chinese musicians Cao Mengyao and Zhang Hanzi will present: The pipa concerto “Passion Amidst Flowers and the Moonlight” and the erhu concerto “Czardas”.

Under the baton of resident conductor Siau Xianghao, exceptional musicians from Malaysia and China will bring you a music journey full of emotions and artistic charm.
