Sugee Cheng
My name is Sugee Cheng. I hold a Master’s degree in Psychology and have over eight years of experience in education. In recent years, I’ve focused on integrating art, writing, and psychology into meaningful teaching and healing practices. I express myself through pen-and-watercolor illustrations and poetic essays, often capturing moments of everyday life—baking scenes, quiet breakfasts with family, or the simple joy of creating. I’m currently working on a reflective prose book, which explores themes of midlife awakening, emotional boundaries, self-discipline, and slow living. My current direction combines character education with visual storytelling. I design cross-disciplinary courses that blend psychological insight, Confucian ethics, and the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. These lessons focus on three core themes: self-awareness, interpersonal understanding, and global responsibility—inviting students to explore who they are and who they can become through the language of art. I believe that beauty and integrity are not confined to the classroom or canvas—they exist in every mindful, honest, and intentional way of living.
